We Love Manchester is excited to launch a new ‘text to donate’ campaign in the heart of the city centre, with all donations going towards our Covid-19 Community Response Fund.
Text “MANCHESTER 10” to donate £10, this works for any sum from £1 up to £20, with no more than £30 donated in a single day. Texts charged at standard network rate.
This is the Response Fund’s first text to donate function for donations, and we’re proud to unveil it as the beginning of our partnership with Property Alliance Group (Alliance). The campaign will launch on the stunning digital screen at AXIS tower, the latest development from Alliance in Manchester, giving it visibility across the city centre.
Property Alliance Group is a Manchester-based property company with 30 years’ experience, and is behind many of the city’s most iconic buildings. As well as offering use of the AXIS screen to We Love Manchester, Alliance is also providing its considerable branding and design expertise to the charity to make their campaigns and Appeal more impactful.
Ged Carter, Development Manager at We Love Manchester, says:
“Our Charity works best when we make great partnerships. It is fantastic to be working with Property Alliance Group to promote our Covid19 Community Response Fund.
“Their digital team have executed the brief for this campaign at pace and with flair! I’m looking forward to developing the partnership together over the long-term, particularly to work on how we can improve the life chances for many of Manchester’s disadvantaged young people. We aim to do more in this area, and with support from Property Alliance Group, we will.”
Vicky Russell, Chief Operating Officer at Property Alliance Group, commented:
“Supporting the team’s Covid-19 Community Response Fund is our number one priority at the moment and we’re really fortunate to be in a position to do that. By sharing our resources and inhouse skills we can ensure the ‘text to donate’ campaign is promoted as widely and effectively as possible.“
AXIS is located just behind the newly created Nightingale Hospital at Manchester Central which is dedicated for treating patients in the Covid-19 national crisis. To reflect this, every Thursday 7-8pm, the messaging on the screen will change from our signature WeLoveMCR red to striking NHS blue with a message from us and all of Manchester to show our appreciation for their selflessness and resilience – you can see this on our Instagram here.
We look forward to a fruitful & lasting relationship with Property Alliance Group, Vicky Russell, and their brilliant team.
