Following an extensive pilot last year, supporting over 50 young Mancunians towards more sustainable and prosperous futures, this January 2021 we are delighted to announce the launch of the Manchester’s Rising Stars Fund.
The fund aims to give young Mancunians a helping hand to take opportunities that may otherwise be out of their reach. Limited finances can be a barrier to many young people, and we recognise that a little financial support at the right time can make a big difference when starting out on a career, self-employment or learning path.
We welcome requests for grants to purchase equipment, to fund training and accreditations, and to support other costs relating to moving into employment, education or training.
BECOME A REFERRAL PARTNER
A defining feature of this launch is the extensive network including dozens of Manchester’s dedicated youth organisations that have signed up to the programme as Referral Partners. These partners are helping to identify young people who are in need of support, and encourage them to apply for a grant. Read our MRSF Partnership Flyer to learn more about what it means, and if your organisation is interested then please get in touch with our Grants Officer Marie (marie.o’firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss. Then dependent upon that conversation, proceed to fill out the MRSF Referral Partners sign-up form.
