Take our “Landmarks of Manchester” 10K challenge!
Covid-19 restrictions mean it will be a long time before mass-participation events are back in full swing. We’ve come up with a solution for everyone who wants to get fit, have a bit of fun, and re-discover the landmarks of our fine city – the “Landmarks of Manchester” 10k!
Fall in love with our city all over again, whilst raising money for us to continue our work supporting communities and young people in Manchester.

We Love MCR pledge £200,000 to the future of Manchester
Following an extensive pilot last year, supporting over 50 young Mancunians towards more sustainable and prosperous futures, this January 2021 we are delighted to announce the launch of the Manchester’s Rising Stars Fund.
The fund aims to give young Mancunians a helping hand to take opportunities that may otherwise be out of their reach. Limited finances can be a barrier in a city where 40% of children grow up in households experiencing poverty, and we recognise that a little financial support at the right time can make a big difference when starting out on a career, self-employment or learning path.

We Love Manchester Summer School 2019
We Love Manchester proudly supports young Mancunians. They are our rising stars and future leaders, and some may need a helping hand along the way.
We work with young people through our key projects including Summer School, funded work experience placements, funds and platforms for young entrepreneurs, and personal mentoring opportunities. All projects help to develop key skills for future employment, education and life!
We know that money can often be a barrier to accessing opportunities. We support the young people we work with in a number of ways, ensuring that financial limits don’t get in the way of young people developing the skills and confidence to succeed.
Grants Programme
We provide funding to community groups and local charities throughout the city of Manchester, bringing communities together to celebrate diversity, breakdown barriers and help create a better future for the city. The charity wants to celebrate Manchester’s uniqueness, multicultural neighbourhoods and youthful energy.
