Each month, our Trustees come together to award grants from our two core funds. The 'Stronger Communities Fund' (SCF), where we seek applications from community groups looking to make a difference in their area, and the 'Manchester's Rising Stars Fund' (MRSF) where we award grants supporting ambitious young Mancunians.
In June, we awarded 6 MRSF grants totalling £8,935! Here is a list of those young people supported by We Love MCR, and we look forward to sharing further details about them with you as their journeys progress.
Alexander, 20
Ambition: To run his own sports massage business.
Awarded: £1,900
For: Massage course and workshop costs.

For: Flight cost to New York to take up a scholarship, Student Visa fees, orientation fee and one night’s accommodation.
