We're delighted that Cheadle-based lender Together has announced it will be donating £180,000 to our work at We Love MCR Charity! The donation will be used to both upgrade Wythenshawe Park and to support local community projects.
£150,000 of the donation will be dedicated to revamping Wythenshawe Park over a number of years, with an aim of providing safe, fun outdoor space for children of all abilities to enjoy.
The remaining £30,000 will be used to bolster our Stronger Communities Fund, which Together wish to support to protect and improve even more open spaces. The donation has already supported brilliant projects throughout the city, including community allotments, a green residential alley way project and a children’s gardening club. This donation is the start of a long-term partnership between ourselves and Together, which we couldn't be happier about!
