Thanks to all 105 fundraisers who joined us and made the event a success!
Across two days, we saw over 100 daredevils complete our latest mind-over-matter challenge by descending 270ft from the roof of One Regent tower in Castlefield.
The 26 storeys of the tower made it the biggest top-to-bottom abseil in Manchester history! Situated alongside the River Irwell, a beautiful Mancunian location to make history.
We were lucky to have so many brilliant fundraisers, some even coming in exciting outfits from Manchester bees to superheroes!

We were also joined by our Chair of Trustees, the Lord Mayor of Manchester! Donna was joined by her Consort and husband Cllr Sean McHale, fellow trustee Deputy Lord Mayor Cllr Yasmine Dar, and Manchester City Council's Leader, Bev Craig, and Deputy Chief Executive, Carol Culley.
Bev and Yasmine right in the thick of it 26 storeys up!
Hulme Councillor, Lee-Ann Igbon, also fundraised for us while taking on Bury's Peel Tower!
We had hoped to raise £30,000 to go directly towards our Stronger Communities Fund and Manchester’s Rising Stars Fund, where we seek to empower local community projects and to change the lives of ambitious but disadvantaged young Mancunians. However, the total raised so far is £41,000 – smashing that target and making it our most successful sponsored event ever!
